Guacomole

A typical Mexican guacomole with tomatoes, flavoured with Cholula® Hot Sauce.

Recipe for 4 portions

What’s needed
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 tsp. garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tbsp. Cholula® Chili Lime Hot Sauce
  • 1 splash lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut the avocados to half, remove the pit and smash the flesh in a bowl until desired consistency.
  2. Cut tomato and onion in small pieces and add to the avocado.
  3. Add all other ingredients.
  4. Tip: The guacomole can be refined with cream fraiche as desired. Mujajoes love it with chilis for extra heat.
