Hummus
Homemade hummus with Cholula® Hot Sauce – perfect as a spread on bread or as a dip with vegetables.
Recipe for 4 portions
What’s needed
- 60ml olive oil
- 3 tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 clove
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. Cholula Chipotle® Hot Sauce
- Salt and pepper, desired amount
Preparation
- Throw all your ingredients into a blender and puree for 30 seconds or until desired smoothness. For decoration a few chickpeas can be held back.
- If you want a thinner consistency, simply add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and blend again.
- Tipp: Drizzle with extra Cholula® Chipotle and garnish with chickpeas.
