Homemade hummus with Cholula® Hot Sauce – perfect as a spread on bread or as a dip with vegetables.
Recipe for 4 portions
60ml olive oil
3 tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. Cholula Chipotle® Hot Sauce
Salt and pepper, desired amount
Throw all your ingredients into a blender and puree for 30 seconds or until desired smoothness. For decoration a few chickpeas can be held back.
If you want a thinner consistency, simply add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and blend again.
Drizzle with extra Cholula® Chipotle and garnish with chickpeas.
