Homemade hummus with Cholula® Hot Sauce – perfect as a spread on bread or as a dip with vegetables.

Recipe for 4 portions

What’s needed
  • 60ml olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1 can chickpeas,  drained and rinsed
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. Cholula Chipotle® Hot Sauce
  • Salt and pepper, desired amount


  1. Throw all your ingredients into a blender and puree for 30 seconds or until desired smoothness. For decoration a few chickpeas can be held back.
  2. If you want a thinner consistency, simply add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and blend again.
  3. Tipp: Drizzle with extra Cholula® Chipotle and garnish with chickpeas.
