Veggies with Garlic Dip
Fresh and colourful vegetables with a delicious garlic dip. Flavoured with Cholula® Hot Sauce.
Recipe for 8 portions.
What’s needed
- 250ml mayonnaise
- 200g sour cream
- 6 garlic coves, put through a garlic press
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. Cholula® Chili Garlic Hot Sauce
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Vegetables
- 500g baby carrots, peeled
- 2 yellow bell peppers, sliced
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 bunch of radish
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 500g cauliflower
- 500g sugar snap peas
- 125g fresh herbs
Preparation
- Mix all the dip ingredients in a bowl and season to taste. Keep refrigerated.
- Blanch a vegetables. To blanch, boil water with a teaspoon of baking soda, add vegetables and cook for 30 seconds.
- Drain the vegetables and immediately place in an ice bath, drain and remove quickly to prevent becoming soggy.
- Arrange the vegetables on a serving plate with the dip.
- Top with fresh herbs beofre serving.
