Veggies with Garlic Dip

Fresh and colourful vegetables with a delicious garlic dip. Flavoured with Cholula® Hot Sauce.

Recipe for 8 portions.

What’s needed
  • 250ml mayonnaise
  • 200g sour cream
  • 6 garlic coves, put through a garlic press
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. Cholula® Chili Garlic Hot Sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Vegetables

  • 500g baby carrots, peeled
  • 2 yellow bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 bunch of radish
  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 500g cauliflower
  • 500g sugar snap peas
  • 125g fresh herbs

Preparation

  1. Mix all the dip ingredients in a bowl and season to taste. Keep refrigerated.
  2. Blanch a vegetables. To blanch, boil water with a teaspoon of baking soda, add vegetables and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Drain the vegetables and immediately place in an ice bath, drain and remove quickly to prevent becoming soggy.
  4. Arrange the vegetables on a serving plate with the dip.
  5. Top with fresh herbs beofre serving.
